Rong Liu (Laura) graduated from Tianjin Medical University, one of most distinguished medical facilities in China. After she finished training in University hospital, she worked as an attending internal medicine physician in a tertiary hospital of Tianjin China for 15 years. In 2012, Laura immigrated to Canada, and got R. Ac license in BC.
Rong believes traditional medicine is effective complementary of modern medicine
Rong was born in a medical family. She has been interested in science and medicine since she was a little girl. She has been a medical doctor and acupuncturist since 1997, practicing both Chinese and Western medicine. She is now practicing as a registered acupuncturist at two clinics. Laura has gained rich experiences in the past 20 years. Her expertise includes relief injury and body pain (such as soft tissues injury, sports injury, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, muscle stiffness, sciatica, etc.), sequela of stroke and facial paralysis, headache, depression, insomnia, respiratory diseases, digestive disorders, and gynecological diseases, etc. She also helps and supports for IVF.
Rong believes traditional medicine is effective complementary of modern medicine. The best treatment is to choose the different ways depending on the different people and diseases. In addition, Rong is a wife and mother, she likes cooking, reading, and drawing.
